When our family was homeschooling, I tried to take time to do something different in December.  This month of the year seems to be so busy; it is nice to take a relaxed approach to homeschooling, yet learn in different and fun ways. Since one way to do this is to read a book with an accompanying guide, I created the Christmas Classics series.  Please contact CNS if you have other titles that you would like to see in this series of study guides.

Most of these guides are available from TeachersPayTeachers in a workbook format; click on the titles:

The Light at Tern Rock, by Julia Sauer (2nd-4th Gr.)
Ronnie and his aunt provide relief for a lighthouse keeper for two weeks in December. Ronnie loves the lighthouse, but is looking forward to being home for Christmas.
